The Horse and Farrier, Dacre

Welcome to The Horse and Farrier Inn Dacre . We are an 18th Century coaching inn in the small Lakeland village of Dacre . With fantastic views of the Pennines, the lakeland fells and Blencathra , we offer a warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere.

Where to find us

We are close to Ullswater, opposite the ancient St Andrews church with the famous Dacre Bears, and the historical Dacre Castle.

Our current opening hours are: Monday 6-11, Tuesday to Saturday 12-2, 6-11. Sunday 12-3, 7-11.

We are currently open for lunch Tuesday to Saturday 12-2.00, and evening meals Monday to Saturday 6-9.30.

Sunday Lunch is served 12-3.
